Student Story King lives with his grandmother, younger sibling, cousin, and his uncle. His father passed away from cancer years ago and his mother has abandoned him to stay with his grandmother when he was younger, she does not contact him much these days. The grandmother works as a hired worker where she can make around $12 USD a day when she can find work. At school King said he likes to study math as it is easy for him. He likes to walk and play outside with his friends. His favorite sport is soccer. When he gets older he said he would like to serve God in some way. Kings grandmother is requesting this scholarship to help lift a financial burden off of her as she is getting older and needs some financial support for her grandson and his studies.
