Student Story Nokham lives with her grandmother, aunt, uncle, and cousin. Both of Nokham’s parents passed away when she was younger. Her grandmother is 60 years old but is still able to work in the local fields / gardens where she is paid $8-10 USD per day when she is able to find work. Nokham said that she likes her gym class at school because she enjoys exercising and playing sports. In her free time she enjoys listening to music and says that she hopes to become a soldier one day when she grows up. Nokham and her grandmother hope to get this scholarship so that she will be enabled to study far and help her family out with the financial burden of her educational fees at school.
